The Axis of Greed

A Declaration of Independence From

The Axis of Greed

We the people of the United States of America have a serious, continuously escalating, crisis that is bankrupting our nation and endangering our lives. Unless we the people, individually, reach down deep within our conscience and rebel against this tyranny, we will be led like paranoid sheep to our slaughter.

This website is dedicated to the preservation of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as guaranteed by our founding fathers. Each of these endowments is being severely threatened by six unscrupulous entities within our society. The Axis of Greed. In the order of their complicity, they are professional politicians, drug companies, medical corporations, trial lawyers, the food industry and insurance companies. There are sub groups that will be discussed later. We will prove conclusively that a conspiracy is being perpetrated, by The Axis of Greed, on us the people of the United States of America. We will present facts that can be irrefutably verified.

We are led to believe that America has the best of everything. We are undoubtedly the most powerful nation in the world. We could destroy any other country at the push of a button. We are the richest. We have the highest per capita income of any other country. We own more houses. Have more cars. We go into outer space at will. Our technology is unsurpassed. No one is starving to death. The government takes care of that. And in that comfort zone of being the best at everything, we mistakenly believe we must be the healthiest country and have the world’s best sickness care. Wrong. If anyone tells you America has the greatest sickness care system in the world, they are lying or grossly misinformed. We have the highest drug costs in the world. We can get the identical drugs from Canada for half the price and from Mexico for pennies on the dollar. Hospital stays, surgery, office visits, all sickness costs in America are higher than any other country in the world. One out of every five dollars is spent on health care for a total of $2.5 trillion dollars per year. Over 15 percent of our Gross Domestic Product goes to sickness.

America has the following ‘advantages’ over the other modern countries of the world:

The most percentage of population having been vaccinated.

The most people on high blood pressure medication.

The most people on high cholesterol medication.

The most people on blood thinning medication.

The most people on anti-depressant medication.

The most people on allergy medication.

The most people on anti-inflammatory medication.

The most people on muscle relaxing medication.

The most people on pain medication.

The most medicated country of the world.

The most doctors per person.

The most diverse specialities of doctors.

The most hospitals.

The most nurses.

The most paramedics.

The most ambulances.

And yet, America is the sickest country of any modern democracy in the world. Sickness is America’s largest industry. Americans spends more on sickness, $2.5 trillion, than any other country (up 300 percent in the last 20 years). America spends $7016 on sickness for each of its 300 million people each year. We have a lower life span and a higher child death per 1000 than any other modern country in the world.

Regardless of the constant rant from our government that we have the best ‘health care’ in the world, the facts speak for themselves.

USA $7016, 76.5 years, 8 child deaths per 1000 % of GDP 15.4

Finland: $2203, 80.0 years, 4 child deaths per 1000. 7.4

France: $3050, 80.5 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 10.5

Germany: $3171, 79 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 10.6

Canada: $3173, 80.5 years, 6 child deaths per 1000. 9.8

Sweden: $2828, 81 years, 4 child deaths per 1000. 9.1

Switzerland: $4011, 81.5 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 11.5

England: $2560, 79 years, 6 child deaths per 1000. 8.1

Iceland,: $3294, 81 years, 3 child deaths per 1000. 9.9

The Netherlands: $3092, 79 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 9.2

New Zealand: $2081, 79.5 years, 6 child deaths per 1000. 8.4

Norway: $4080, 79.5 years, 4 child deaths per 1000. 9.7

Spain: $2099, 80.5 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 8.1

Israel: $1972, 80 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 8.7

Italy: $2114, 81 years, 4 child deaths per 1000. 8.7

Japan: $2293, 82.5 years, 4 child deaths per 1000. 7.8

Greece: $2179, 79.5 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 7.9

Australia: $3123, 81.5 years, 6 child deaths per 1000. 9.6

Austria: $3418, 79.5 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 10.3

Belgium: $3133, 79 years, 5 child deaths per 1000. 9.7

Average: $2825, 80.2 years 4.8 child deaths per 1000 9.2

USA $7016, 76.5 years, 8 child deaths per 1000 15.4

The people in the little country of Japan can expect to live 82.5 years and the child mortality rate is just 4. They spend only $2293 per capita. People in Italy live 81 years with a child mortality rate of 4 using only $2,114 per capita less than one third of America. Even in Cuba, our designated punching bag, people live to be 77 years old, long er than Americans and only spend a measly $229 per capita on sickness. These figures come from the World Health Organization and can be verified at their website who.int.

It should be an embarrassment that all of the modern democracies of the world have healthier people who live longer and spend less on sickness than America. Why isn’t it? Because nobody knows. Nobody tells us. It’s a well kept secret. And while the facts are being carefully hidden, we are being brainwashed.

We are constantly being bombarded with advertisements from the Greedy Six. Nearly half of all ads on television are for prescription drugs, over the counter drugs, fast food chains, ‘soft’ drink companies, medical facilities, lawyers trying to get us to sue and insurance companies raising their rates more than 10 percent per year. There are also public service ads telling us about the dangers of illegal drugs, smoking, staying in school, family counseling. Ads admonishing us to make sure we get our prostate, breast, colon, bone density and heart checkups. Always demanding that we “see your doctor”. Popular TV shows such as ‘ER’ Grey’s Anatomy and House, (completely out of touch with reality), are in our face nearly every night.

Heart wrenching advertisements pleading for our money to find a ‘cure’ for dozens of life threatening diseases that continue to exist and expand. There are also the screaming news announcements and headlines just to keep us paranoid and vulnerable. The SARS ‘epidemic’ , the West Nile Flu ‘epidemic’, the Anthrax scare. And get our dangerous smallpox vaccination just in case some foreign country had a couple of smallpox germs stored away for 40 years. While we are being pelted with propaganda, the Greedy Six are getting richer and richer and America is getting sicker and sicker.

The number of elderly Americans who take prescription medications is staggering. According to a recent national survey, more than 90 percent of all people age 65 or older take at least one prescription medication daily, and more than 40 percent take five or more medications each day. 40 million inpatient surgeries were performed in the year 2000. Over 7 percent of the entire population was cut open. 7 million heart related surgeries were performed in 2004. 1 out of 4 of the 15 million babies born in 2004 were taken through a hole cut in mommy’s stomach. Many just for conveniences’ sake.

98,000 people die each year of medical mistakes. Additionally, a recent University of Chicago study revealed that over 3 million medical errors may occur each year in the nation’s hospitals. The study calculated the expense of these errors may reach $200 billion.

There’s a potentially dangerous pill for everything from an ant bite to an unruly child. A pill for gas, a pill for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, birth control, thin the blood, open the arteries, feet fungus, asthma, allergies, depression, sleeplessness, arthritis, diarrhea, constipation, osteoporosis, restless leg syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, erectile dysfunction. New diseases are being constantly invented along with their corresponding new pills. We got a problem? There’s a pill to fix it. If we don’t have a problem there’s a potentially dangerous vaccine that will keep us for having a problem. And the politically powerful drug companies smile all the way to the bank, after they put a chunk of money into a political campaign fund.

But where are the public service TV ads, the full page newspaper ads, the headlines, that urge us to live a healthy life style, to get off the couch, exercise, eat properly and take control of our health? There are none. 63 percent of Americans are obese. The Surgeon General has quietly declared obesity is a national epidemic. Where are the headlines? Where is the government money to combat this very deadly epidemic? At this writing, SARS has claimed 600 lives. This ‘epidemic’ was all over the news media day after day, hour after hour. People were wearing face masks and were afraid to travel or go out on the street. However, 600 deaths, though tragic, out of 6.5 billion people on earth, is not an epidemic.

On the other hand, the obesity epidemic kills millions of Americans each year and costs our nation trillions of dollars. Have we heard much about this epidemic that is sucking the life out of millions of Americans and bankrupting our nation? Where are the headlines? Where is the panic? The Axis of Greed is sitting on it. If we stay sick, they will stay wealthy, powerful and in control of our lives. There’s not much profit in a healthy America.

That is the conspiracy we are talking about and we will prove. Our country, our health and our quality of life is in our hands. We must educate ourselves to live healthy lives. To take personal responsibility for our health and well being.
